STAGE 84, a lively loungy venue in Fort Lauderdale area is actively seeking musicians and performance artists for immediate openings for Friday and Saturday nights (other nights may be booked for Special Events.) Set lengths are determined at time of booking. A local draw is not necessary to be booked, but is preferable.

I TEACH BY: "EAR METHOD" ONLY - NO READING MUSIC. No books used. Everything explained. If you want a certain song, I can show you almost any one, note for note, within seconds. I do read music, but I've been playing professionally all over the world for over 30 yrs and have practically never needed it. In some circumstances it is needed - at school, in church, in a dance band, an orchestra or to do most session work, for instance. Most guitarists and bass players in blues, rock, pop, country, reggae etc. etc. don't need to read music!

I TAILOR EACH LESSON TO EACH PERSON - ONE ON ONE (I don't hold group classes).

TECHNIQUE and THEORY are made easy!

MY DECADES OF EXPERIENCE INCLUDE: Blues, Rock, Heavy, Fusion, Jazz, Funk, Dance, Pop, Country, Rock-a-Billy, Soul, Latin, Swing etc... Many decades covered, including this one(Plain White T's thru Satriani).

It is Official: World Class Orchestra is Performing the National Anthem on 1-2-2010 at 6PM to Open the Junior Orange Bowl Parade in Coral Gables
The Video of May 17th Set the Bar. World Class Orchestra Will Be The First Orchestra In The 60 Year History of the Junior Orange Bowl Parade to Perform. They Want to Make History and Set a Precedence for Other Parades. WCO has United with South Florida Jubilee Chorus in a Second Unprecedented Historical Accomplishment as They Will Sing the National Anthem A Cappella, First. The Orchestra Will Perform the National Anthem with Everyone Singing. Musicians From Many Other Orchestras and Big Bands Are Offering Their Assistance. All Qualified Musicians Will Join WCO In This Unique Event.


This is a nonpaying event for a 501c3 Charity that helps children. Your participation does not require performing music, you may march with us in the Parade and carry the Flag of the USA or the Flag of your Home Country or even just march with us. World Class Orchestra will give Musicians that want to perform the Patriotic music, free of charge.

This will have major coverage including WLRN and will bring World Class Orchestra much needed publicity. We have invited other groups to join us to make the strongest showing possible. We have invited Choral Groups, Dance Troupes, Artists, our Volunteers, Staff and Board of other Organizations that have shown interest in WCO. We have a massive ad campaign that will be on-going.


The waiver form must be sent in to the Parade Committee and the Parade is January 2, 2010. The theme is "Miami Winter Wonderland" and will be held in Downtown Coral Gables at 6:00 PM. This is the signature event of the largest youth festival in the world. I have been working on this with the Junior Orange Bowl Parade Committee since our May 17, Performance. We need people to hold the WCO banner and wave the Flags of their respective countries and sing, everyone is welcome to join us in this parade under the WCO Banner. Please, if you are interested in attending or performing or bringing guests to march in the parade with us, send in the application and inform me as to whether you will Perform or March, so we can act accordingly. It is Official: World Class Orchestra is Performing the National Anthem on 1-2-2010 at 6PM to Open the Junior Orange Bowl Parade in Coral Gables
The Video of May 17th Set the Bar. World Class Orchestra Will Be The First Orchestra In The 60 Year History of the Junior Orange Bowl Parade to Perform. They Want to Make History and Set a Precedence for Other Parades. WCO has United with South Florida Jubilee Chorus in a Second Unprecedented Historical Accomplishment as They Will Sing the National Anthem A Cappella, First. The Orchestra Will Perform the National Anthem with Everyone Singing. Musicians From Many Other Orchestras and Big Bands Are Offering Their Assistance. All Qualified Musicians Will Join World Class Orchestra, In This Unique Event.


This is a nonpaying event for a 501c3 Charity that helps children. Your participation does not require performing music, you may march with us in the Parade and carry the Flag of the USA or the Flag of your Home Country or even just march with us. World Class Orchestra will give Musicians that want to perform the Patriotic music, free of charge.

This will have major coverage including WLRN and will bring World Class Orchestra much needed publicity. We have invited other groups to join us to make the strongest showing possible. We have invited Choral Groups, Dance Troupes, Artists, our Volunteers, Staff and Board of other Organizations that have shown interest in WCO. We have a massive ad campaign that will be on-going.


The waiver form must be sent in to the Parade Committee and the Parade is January 2, 2010. The theme is "Miami Winter Wonderland" and will be held in Downtown Coral Gables at 6:00 PM. This is the signature event of the largest youth festival in the world. I have been working on this with the Junior Orange Bowl Parade Committee since our May 17, Performance. We need people to hold the WCO banner and wave the Flags of their respective countries and sing, everyone is welcome to join us in this parade under the WCO Banner. Please, if you are interested in attending or performing or bringing guests to march in the parade with us, send in the application and inform me as to whether you will Perform or March, so we can act accordingly. FORT LAUDERDALE FL – Bobby Rodriguez Productions is proud to present Studio1, a NEW State-of-the-Art rehearsal and meeting hall for musicians, dance companies, theater troupes, and more!

Studio 1 is a 24-hour, multi-functional facility, encompassing a 30 x 50 area, which can easily be used as a showcase room, pre-production/rehearsal studio, black box, and demo-recording studio and meeting space.

The room contains sound-reinforced baffle walls and boards with a sound-reinforced ceiling to enhance acoustics. Other features include a hardwood floor and full-length wall mirrors and portable dance barres.

Multi-channel audio recording, theatrical lighting, amplifiers, PA system, and backline are also available.

Studio 1 is just off of I-95 near Commercial Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.

HI! MY NAME IS DOUG, I'm originally from England. I've worked professionally for over 30yrs, all over the world, in front of tens to thousands, and still really enjoy playing. I started when I was 11yrs old, and have played many styles. I've been teaching guitar and bass here(Fort Lauderdale) for several years, also in the U.K. I'm an advanced player.

I TEACH: BEGINNER, AMATEUR, SEMI & PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS in a warm friendly atmosphere - IN MY "FLORIDA ROOM". It's not like school.

I TEACH BY: "EAR METHOD" ONLY - NO READING MUSIC. No books used. Everything explained. If you want a certain song, I can show you almost any one, note for note, within seconds. I do read music, but I've been playing professionally all over the world for over 30 yrs and have practically never needed it. In some circumstances it is needed - at school, in church, in a dance band, an orchestra or to do most session work, for instance. Most guitarists and bass players in blues, rock, pop, country, reggae etc. etc. don't read music!

I TAILOR EACH LESSON TO EACH PERSON - ONE ON ONE (I don't hold group classes).

TECHNIQUE and THEORY are made easy!

MY DECADES OF EXPERIENCE INCLUDE: Blues, Rock, Heavy, Fusion, Jazz, Funk, Dance, Pop, Country, Rock-a-Billy, Soul, Latin, Swing etc... Many decades covered, including this one(Plain White T's thru Satriani).

EXTENSIVE CHORD & SOLO KNOWLEDGE. Basic chords to very advanced(power to 13-9 etc.) also chord construction. SOLO: basic to advanced - diatonic(doh ray mi), pentatonic, blues scales, modal playing(using modes), hammer-ons/pull-offs, sweeps, arpeggios, bends, pedal notes, plus loads of other interesting stuff, if you want it! (tabs etc...) Everything to make you a great SOLO and/or RHYTHM player.

I USE MANY SHORT-CUTS and simple logic.(Without missing a thing!)
