Licensed Physical Therapist – Specializing in Women’s Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
The Florida Center for Urogynecology is seeking a full time Physical Therapist with a clinical specialty in women's health and pelvic floor rehab to join our team. Candidates desiring to work four full days a week will also be considered.

This is an excellent career opportunity for a physical therapist to join our team. We offer care available in very few South Florida settings. Our team consists of a urogynecologist who is board-certified in Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and Female Pelvic Medicine, a fellowship trained minimally invasive gynecologist, a physician assistant, and two pelvic floor physical therapists. All the members of the team work side-by-side in one office setting. The philosophy of the office is to improve quality of life for women by integrating medical and surgical treatments with pelvic muscular therapy. We believe that this integrative approach to treating patients greatly benefits women with pelvic floor dysfunction. Given this setting, the position provides an opportunity for a physical therapist to gain in-depth knowledge about the medical and surgical side to treatment.

Caseload consists of patients with pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, prenatal and postpartum muscular diagnoses, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, hip labrum pathology, SIJ dysfunction, colorectal conditions/chronic constipation, and diastasis recti management.

Our outpatient office has 8 private examination rooms with motorized tables and we utilize Prometheus biofeedback units. Two of the examination rooms are dedicated to physical therapy. We allocate 60 minute appointments for our new patient evaluations and regular treatments. All patients have a gynecological/pelvic floor evaluation prior to starting pelvic therapy with ongoing integrated medical care. The patient volume is very comfortable and you should enjoy providing one-on-one patient centered care. The physicians are available daily for consultation. In addition to competitive compensation, we provide other benefits for full time employees including reimbursement for women's health-related continuing education courses, health and dental insurance, paid time off, reimbursement for relocation, and a 401K plan with employer matching.

The Florida Center for Urogynecology is located in Hollywood, FL, nestled between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale airport. Many consider South Florida to have year-round ideal weather with wonderful opportunities for outdoor recreation and miles of beautiful beaches. Average temperatures are in the 70’s.

An active physical therapy license and ability to obtain a Florida physical therapy license
Our perfect candidate will have at least one year of clinical experience treating Women's Health and Pelvic Rehab cases; completion of Pelvic Floor Level 1 & 2 training thru the APTA Women’s Health Section or Herman & Wallace or equivalent training, those who have completed Level 1 and have had clinical experience welcome to apply. We will also consider new grads who have completed a clinical internship in Pelvic Rehab/Women's Health.

Please email to apply.

A CV with cover letter would be appreciated along with documentation of certification and license.
