Job Description Fast Growing Commercial Real Estate Company located in Georgetown seeking Leasing and Investment Sales agents to grow with us. You will be a key member of a growing, vibrant company with offices in Washington, DC and Boca Raton, FL. You will be expected to be highly motivated, innovative and ambitious for success. Compensation is commission only, sometimes a draw based on the first few weeks activity and knowledge in the industry. The sky is the limit with allocated commission growth based on transaction growth. We are looking for a Leasing and Sales Agent who can perform the following key roles: Leasing for Properties: Make leasing calls for all of the owner’s clients, both shopping center clients and tenant clients under the owner’s guidance and bringing in new business to the firm Find new Clients to represent and new shopping centers to pick up to fill their vacancies Track leads in progress, create an effective system to assure deals are followed and pushed to finish line Produce regular leasing reports for Owners, Landlords & Tenants Follow up on prospect in progress on behalf of Owner Proactively communicate and assist with: Meeting Prep, Leasing Reports & Deals in Progress Make 100-150 calls Use the company leasing track spreadsheet to track all of your prospective deals Internal Coordination / Administration Act as the voice of the company, answering and directing calls as necessary Communicating confidence and assuring clients of company’s handling of their needs Providing insight into client issues and offering solutions to Thur Agents based on discussions Keep Owner up to date by checking messages and alerting her to issues of the day. Follow up as needed. Remind Owner of leasing reports when they are due, generally monthly and also conference calls. Read industry news and local newspapers to learn of new retailers in the market or coming to the market Share information with team in weekly meetings Arrive Early to set yourself up for success Create an effective leasing client database of important information on their company (ie: website, locations, etc.) DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Knowledge of key DC/MD/VA or FL markets Bachelor’s Degree preferred Strong strategic, organizational and sales skills Minimum 2 years commercial real estate experience Excellent communication, written and presentation skills Proven experience identifying and closing deals Working knowledge of outlook, excel, word, google maps, etc. Fast learner on the use of commercial real estate tools - Costar, Loopnet, STDB Online, etc. Company Description Company Description At Thur & Associates and Thur Retail, we take our clients' needs seriously!
