Description The Onboarding team is seeking a Tech Lead to join their team! As a Tech Lead, you will Empower the team to deliver quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process. You will work with the Architect, Business Analysts, Product Managers, customers and other stakeholders to understand the product vision and feature requirements and help the team establish a technical approach to delivering features that are in line with architectural standards and best practices. You will also participate in code reviews and help the team manage technical debt. You will be teaching and coaching the team in technologies and best practices to ensure cross-team technical dependencies are managed to achieve successful releases. Ultimate is also ranked #1 on the Fortune's "100 Best Workplaces for Millennials" for 2017 and #5 on its "50 Best Workplaces for Diversity" list for 2016. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities :** * Communicate complex technical problems in abstract terms * Mentoring and assisting other engineers in finding the best possible solution * Mastery of the technologies in use by the team * Communicate advantages and trade-offs between multiple solutions * Working across teams and the business on cross-team features and dependencies **Required Qualifications:** * 3-5 or more years experience as a software engineer * Exceptional problem-solving skills and developing technical vision * Strong organizational and leadership skills * Relevant experience with at least one statically typed language - C# / Java * Familiarity with non-relational persistence stores, such as key-value, column-oriented, and aggregate/document-oriented databases * Experience with complex event process and event-driven integrated systems * Knowledge of microservice architectures * Experience with building cloud-aware applications with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions * Ability to track integration points across multiple applications to manage risk * Solid understanding of performance and security * Experience with Open Stack, Cloud Foundry, or other comparable cloud management solutions * Experience establishing continuous delivery pipeline in cloud based infrastructure * In depth experience building large-scale, high-availability SaaS solutions in the cloud **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with MongoDB * Experience with RabbitMQ * Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design * Experience leveraging Event Sourcing and CQRS **Education/Certification/License :** * A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field is a plus **Travel Requirement: **Limited Travel upon request This job description has been written to include the general nature of work performed.
