What we need: Summit Brokerage Services, a part of Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an IT Support Associate to join a high talented team. This position is for an individual with a proven track record of strong work ethics who strives on working in a dynamic environment. What you will do: As an IT Support Associate you will be responsible for providing training and support to end-users for various types of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals. Respond to internal and external end users queries by phone, email, or in person. In addition you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks: Monitor the help desk queue and ensures tickets are resolved before the exceeded target completion date/time, or to the customer s satisfaction Accurately, quickly, and typing efficiently record all interactions with customers in an incident management tracking tool. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. User training and initial user setups. Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies. Install, maintain and repair personal computers, software and peripheral equipment. Ensure end-user access to the systems. Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. Adhere to policies and procedures regarding the safeguarding of protected information, and access to corporate systems. Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP.
