**Restaurant is located in Delray Beach, FL** Must be willing to commute to Delray Beach or be willing to relocate.
Seeking Experienced Sous Chef for our busy restaurant
Compensation: Based on experience.
At MRG, our Sous Chef is responsible for ensuring that all meals coming from the kitchen are well prepared with regard to quality, consistency, taste and food cost. You must meet restaurant quality standards, assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation, and control food and labor costs, while maximizing guest satisfaction. We are looking for someone who can learn our systems and eventually grow into an Executive Chef position.
Position Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience
* Experience as an Sous Chef required
* Ability to work in a high:volume, fast:paced work environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse staff
* A strong understanding of Food and Beverage preparation techniques and health department rules and regulations
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work load in a demanding environment
* Must be organized, self:motivated, proactive, and strong attention to detail
* Excellent cooking skills
* Large volume experience preferred
* Must be able to lift 20:30 lbs. during the shift, plates, product, ect.
* Must be flexible to work all shifts
