Job DescriptionWe are seeking to add a Customer Service Representative/Data Entry Clerk to our team! You will be responsible for inputting information from legal documents into our database system. In this position, you will enter approximately 100 papers a day into this database. You will also be answering phone calls, assisting with walk-in clients, and taking statuses from our local process servers.Responsibilities:Accurately entering information from subpoenas and summonses into our internal systemEntering statuses from servers into this system and forwarding these to clients via e-mail or over the phoneReceiving additional instructions and requests from clients and communicating these to the manager and/or to the serversCopying and scanning documentsAnswering phone callsAssisting clients with their questions regarding pricing and servicesProcessing walk-in service requestsQualifications:Must be able to accurately type 45+ WPMMust know how to properly use grammarHaving some knowledge of legal terminology and legal documents is a plusMust know how to perform basic operations on the computerMust have strong organizational skillsMust be deadline- and detail-orientedMust have confidence in decision-makingMust be a team playerMust be self-motivated and able to work independentlyMust be able to follow instructions thoroughly and adhere to company policy and proceduresCompany DescriptionProfessional Process Servers & Investigators, Inc. is both a full-service process serving company and a private investigative agency.
