The credentialing coordinator ensures sales staff membersA cents € (TM) licenses are valid and up-to-date; when dates for renewal are approaching, the coordinator will advise the sales employees as to what steps must be taken. The coordinator will also be tasked with assisting new sales employees with the applicable state requirements for new licensing applications and communicating with the states on cancellation of licenses when an employee terminates. The credentialing coordinator will also have record-keeping duties, which involve keeping copies of licenses, and related documents. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The credentialing coordinator is responsible for all the following areas: Administers licensing process for new hires, renewals, and terminations. Setting-up license deductions for payroll in the HRIS system. Maintaining license tracking spreadsheets. Communicating with the appropriate states on employee status or changes. Facilitating state licensing requirement and application process during new hire orientation. Evaluate information on applications to verify completeness and accuracy. Maintaining/filing records for employee personnel files. Responsible for all other clerical/HR tasks assigned as needed. COMPETENCIES Communication Proficiency. Collaboration Skills. Critical Evaluation. Relationship Management. Ethical Practice. Technical Capacity. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5 pm Schedules are subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma. One year of administrative or credentialing experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
