JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW: The SR Financial Analyst works directly with the division's CFO and AVP of Finance in supporting all aspects to financial reporting cycle. SR Analyst will drive key elements of the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles, and will contribute to the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports monthly closing, providing accurate variance analysis, and support annual budgetPrepare financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget vs. actualsManage the completion of Sr. Management reportingPerform comparative analysisPerform account analysis, labor analysis, cost allocations, cost analysisAssess and track key performance indicatorsConscientious, detailed and willing to improve processesReview Jr. Analyst's work for timely delivery and accuracyLead Cash Clearing review and researchAbility to effectively prioritize, and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.Assist CFO and AVP with special projects and ad hoc analysis as neededOther duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: Minimum Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance2-5 years of financial analysis experienceStrong analytical skills and ability to work independentlyStrong Excel skillsGEIDX, Hyperion and Informatics knowledge a plusBasic understanding of accounting, GAAPStrong analytical, written communication, interpersonal, listening, interviewing and organizational skillsStrong documentation skills (narratives and flow charts)PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office settingOccasional standing/bendingOccasional lifting/carrying (20lbs or less)Some travel locally and overnightModerate stressProlonged sittingProlonged work on a PC/computerProlonged telephone workDISCLAIMER: Cooperative, positive, courteous and professional behavior and conduct is an essential function of every position.
