Do you appreciate client variety and resources of the Big Four but not the hours travel or red tape Do you like the idea of working directly with Partners and clients This is the firm where you find the best tools colleagues and work life balance We offer diverse challenging work from a wide range of clientele in exciting industries As an audit senior you will be responsible for all phases of the audit process including planning and leading audits and ensuring the accuracy and objectivity of audit assignments This will include Plan direct and perform audit duties as required maintaining secondary contact with clients Conduct private and governmental audit assignments and verifying compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements developing an audit program including steps necessary to collect data and document findings Being responsible for the development of audit findings and summaries Completing and monitoring field work Completing and reviewing work papers editing preliminary drafts and coordinating the preparation of the final audit report with engagement partner Perform most engagements with little supervision Direct and review the work of staff accountants make decisions on most day to day accounting tax and auditing matters When unusual situations arise present the pertinent information to the engagement manager and or partner Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to compose clear concise accurate reports using data gathered by self or others Must haves Minimum of three years of public accounting audit experience with at least one full year as an audit senior Financial statement and single audit experience Above average understanding and working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards Preferred Bachelora s degree additional hours of graduate coursework preferred Governmental Not for Profit and Employee Benefits industry experience a plus CPA license a plus Perform most engagements with little supervision Direct and review the work of staff accountants make decisions on most day to day accounting tax and auditing matters When unusual situations arise present the pertinent information to the engagement manager and or partner Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to compose clear concise accurate reports using data gathered by self or others Apply
