Job Description At this time we are seeking an experienced General Ledger Staff Accountant for a prestigious and established company in the Miramar area. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and operates in more than 38 states. Qualified candidates will have over 2 year’s experience in a large accounting environment with experience in balance sheet reconciliation. You will be responsible for (but not limited to)…preparing, analyzing and reconciliation of balance sheets, identify and research outstanding items, make recommendations on adjustments, preparing sales tax returns on a monthly basis, organizing corporate quarterly schedules, and arranging audit schedules as well as supporting various departments with monthly financial statements. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, and be able to multi-task while working in a fast pace environment, understanding of commonly-used accounting concepts, practices, and procedures, SAP experience, proficient in MS Office…have a sense of urgency….and have good communication skills.
