Job Description Our company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Responsibilities and Duties: Bank and Credit Card reconciliations Inter-company reconciliations Process commission tracking Expense reimbursement Assist with Month-end process Assist with Check run Certificate of insurance Invoicing / customer billing General accounting including journal entries. Routine Accounts Receivable Activities such as A/R monitoring, Preparation of A/R reports Routine Accounts Payable Activities such as A/P monitoring, Preparation of A/P reports Reports and account reconciliation research, track, and resolve accounting issues on specially assigned projects Balance and maintain accurate ledgers Match purchase orders with invoices Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets Qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 10+ years of Bookkeeping Experience (Required) 10+ years Accounting Software Experience (Required) 10+ years’ experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and Financial Statements (Required) Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks Benefits: Casual Work Environment Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
